Every Day Counts (EDC) is an initiative of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) designed to identify and deploy innovation aimed at reducing the time it takes to deliver highway projects, enhance safety, and protect the environment. We believe that some EDC initiatives have application in Indian Country and if applied, could significantly reduce project delivery times and reduce costs. Teams from FHWA will work with you to deploy initiatives such as Geosynthetic Reinforced Soil (GRS) Integrated Bridge System (IBS) and Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) and assist with the development of performance measures to gauge success.
