As part of its responsibility for enforcing Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Federal Highway Administration Office of Civil Rights is responsible for publishing technical assistance related to Title VI. This material is intended to provide valuable information regarding Title VI for federal employees, applicants for federal assistance, recipients, beneficiaries and other interested persons. The FHWA will update this technical assistance material periodically, both with additional information as well as when any corrections are necessary.
