CARMA Collaboration Opportunities

Collaboration. Innovation. Open-Source Mobility.

The CARMA software platform is designed to be open source to enable collaboration with industry, academia, infrastructure owner operators (IOOs), and other public agencies on cooperative automation applications. Developed on a Robot Operating System (ROS), a flexible framework for writing software, CARMA has an innovative approach to collaboration for automated vehicle development.

CARMA2 is now available on GitHub, a web-based repository and version control system for computer code that includes features for code review, documentation, and collaboration.

Figure 1. GitHub Repository for CARMA. The illustration represents the GitHub repository for the CARMA platform. The top half of the illustration shows the three repositories available on GitHub through this project, (from left to right) the CARMA Platform Repository, the CARMA Cloud (TSMO) Repository, and the ODE Repository. Each repository is illustrated with cylindrical towers.
