Project Abstract:
The objective of this research is to evaluate innovative traffic control devices and disseminate the results to support changes to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). A consortium of State, regional, and local entities; Federal Highway Administration (FHWA); and other partners will work in conjunction with the Human Factors Laboratories on this task. Work under this pooled fund study has been completed under the following official pooled fund study numbers: TPF-5(065), TPF-5(316), and TPF-5(447).
