Moving Healthy: Linking Transportation Air Quality, Noise and Health
Project Information
Through this research project, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is developing materials and resources to communicate about the connections between health and equity, air quality impacts, and noise impacts. The work will include the development of a factsheet that succinctly describes how transportation air quality and noise connects with health and health-related topics; an update to the 2013 FHWA Moving Healthy brochure; and the development of health-related cases studies. It will also involve compiling a library of health-related research to identify useful resources to reference and cite when engaging in discussions about health-related topics related to transportation air quality and noise.
