Infrastructure Connectivity Certification Test Procedures for Infrastructure-Based Connected Automated Vehicle Components
Project Information
The goal of this project is building from, and expanding, what was done for the USDOT-funded vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) certification program to include infrastructure components. The objective of this task order is to provide the connected automated vehicle (CAV) deployment community with a foundational set of infrastructure connectivity certification test procedures for the more critical and near-term application functionality.
The focus of this task order is on eliciting feedback and input from the CAV community to learn what applications need to be prioritized, to develop test cases/procedures, to submit the test procedures for verification, and to conduct outreach that includes publishing the test procedures for certified test lab use. This effort includes Level 3 – Interface Abilities (both the syntax and contents of the message payload transmitted over the communications medium).
