In your July 10 letter, you requested the Federal Highway Administration's acceptance of an optional terminal post layout using the Hinged Breakaway Post (HBA post) as the first post in an ET-series installation, followed by SYTP posts (Steel Yielding Terminal Posts). This alternative post layout, along with those listed in my June 24 letter, may be considered acceptable.
