Project Outputs:
  • Objectively-presented policy and strategy research in a timely way.
  • Technical, editorial, communications, and publication support services.
Project Outcomes/Impact:

Although the Conditions and Performance report program includes technical writing and editorial support for the final report, the other more varied areas of HPL policy research do not lend them selves to this approach.  This project enables effective and high-quality communication of in-house analysis of policy options consistent with HPTS broader strategy of using its tools and models on an in-house basis. It also supports HPTS staff in communicating the policy-relevance of technical contractor reports through  a range of internal and external presentations, briefs, and white papers to help readers understand their policy significance. Finally, it enables HPL to more readily incorporate review comments to accelerate briefing of research results to FHWA and OST.
