Project Information
This research project will evaluate the durability and cost effectiveness of alternative pavement marking materials, the impact of wider edge lines on driver performance and safety, and the environmental impact of alternative pavement marking materials. The plan is to submit the report to the U.S. Congress by June 2009, and conduct additional field data collection and analysis through 2010.
