Project Abstract:
The project is to deploy a new, non-intrusive technology where travel origin destination data of vehicles in a regional or corridor level can be obtained. It will be the first time that origin destination data for vehicles can be gained through field monitoring. Information such as vehicle visits from one region to other regions can be analyzed.

Project Outcomes/Impact:
Potentially, a wide adoption of the technology could provide field data for travel origin destination (e.g., one state to others) data in real time. In addition, the adoption of the technology will significantly improve vehicle classification data quality without the need of any additional sensor installation.
