Mitigation and Air Quality Program Review FY 2014-2017
Project Information
The congestion mitigation and air quality improvement (CMAQ) program was established to support surface transportation projects and other related efforts that contribute air quality improvements and provide congestion relief. The CMAQ program provides funding for a broad array of projects to accomplish the goals of improving air quality and relieving congestion. For more information on the CMAQ program, please visit http://www.fhwa.dot.gov/environment/air_quality/cmaq/.
The objectives of this research are to assess emission reductions of projects funded by the CMAQ Program. This effort will examine the CMAQ program project information available in the Public Access System to provide summary information and analysis on the distribution or projects, project types, and emissions among others.
