Project Abstract:
The objective of this research project is to develop broad definitions for remaining service and structural life (RSL) that are consistent, unambiguous, and defensible; review current and future data availability in defining the measures and processes for determining RSL; and develop procedures for determining RSL at both the project and network level to meet the current and emerging design, contracting, maintenance, and management practices.
