Project Abstract:

The objectives of this task order are:

1. General Support and Coordination: Provide managerial and administrative support to efficiently manage all task orders awarded under the base contract, facilitate the use of the testbeds and track all equipment and resources of the Saxton Transportation Operations Laboratory (STOL), and provide technical support in accordance with guidance from the contracting officer’s representative (COR) and as specified in the task orders.

2. Operational and Maintenance Support: Provide technical and research services in support of operating and maintaining the STOL, and associated equipment, assets, testbeds, and capabilities.

3. Communication and Outreach Support: Design and deliver communications and outreach products that can be used by stakeholders and customers. These products will document the work conducted by and for Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), both onsite at the STOL, and offsite at other contractor facilities. This objective includes updating the Office of Safety and Operations Research and Development (R&D) communications and outreach strategic plan, to include new innovated ideas to promote the work, and an implementation plan for communications and outreach.

4. Conduct Collaborative Onsite Operations Research Support.
