Project Abstract:

This work will build upon and extend the research from Prototype II, which developed CARMA PlatformSM, CARMA CloudSM and CARMA Simulation. This project will focus on enhancing the CARMA Platform, CARMA Cloud and CARMA Simulation to enable further cooperative automation research leading towards deployment. This project also will use a diverse team of national experts from both public and private sectors, through several established partnerships and current Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) interagency agreements to accelerate the technology transfer and deployment of cooperative vehicle applications on State highways.
